Narowal: PM Nawaz Sharif today addressed launching ceremony of Prime Minister National Health Programme in Narowal today, reported 24 News.
While addressing the ceremony, Nawaz Sharif announced that one hundred and sixty thousand Prime Minister’s health cards are being given to the deserving people in Narowal. He said that the government will bear medical expenses of Rs. 250,000. The programme will benefit 134,000 families in Narowal.
He expressed that serving the people who cannot afford medical expenses is the real noble cause. Meanwhile the PM said that Maryam Nawaz Sharif takes keen interest in such causes and has asked him to tell the story of a patient whose fatal disease was cured with the help of the scheme.
Later in a reference to PTI’s Imran Khan, Nawaz Sharif said that people are now tired of listening to his lies. Sharif said that they tell lies on daily basis. He further said that he would not want to talk about politics at the ceremony of such noble cause. He added that he would talk about politics later in another ‘political’ visit.
Sharif thanked the people of Narowal for showing their confidence in PMLN.
Among other PMLN leaders, Saira Afzal Tarar, Khawaja Salman Rafique, Ahsan Iqbal and Daniyal Aziz were present at the launching ceremony in Narowal.
