Web Desk: An Indian soldier- Tej Bahadur Yadav-of Border Security Forces (BSF) exposed the corruption, miserable condition of food and mismanagement in Indian Army, reported 24 News.
In a video shared on social media, Yadav discussed the plight of Indian security personnel allocated along Line of Control (LoC). “We soldiers do the duty for consecutive 10 to 11 hours in very harsh conditions but we have not been even fed properly,” he said.
“We get single Roti with tea in breakfast and Daal without any spices or basic ingredients in it as lunch,” he added.
Yadav mentioned that government do send proper rations of food for the soldiers. “But our senior officials do not forward the goods to us rather they sell them in market,” he said.
“How can we do duty with empty stomach,” Yadav asked.
The soldier further showed the condition of cooked food in his video. “I want to send this message to the government and public so that every body can know about our condition,” he concluded.
Meanwhile Indian Army has responded the allegations and stated that Yadav is not a soldier rather a plumber. “He is an alcoholic and regular offender of violation of military codes that is why he has been appointed in the headquarters under the supervision of senior,” statement read.
