Web Desk: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) delegation led by Senator Sherry Rehman left for China on Saturday. The delegation will discuss security, economic and general bilateral relations, reported 24 News.
PPP leaders are visiting China on invitation of the Chinese government.
Historically China has supported Pakistan at various low points in country’s foreign relations, said Sherry Rehman.
Friendly relations between PPP and Communist Party of China goes back to the times of Zulfiqar Ali Bhuto and three generations have seen these relations growing. The purpose of this visit is to strengthen the relations between PPP and Communist Party of China which, she said.
The members of the delegation include Sindh Transport and Mass Transit Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, former MNA, KP’s deputy speaker and PPP Central Information Secretary Faisal Karaim Kundi, Senator Karim Khawaja, Senator Sassui Palejo, MNA Imran Leghari, MPA Khwaja Muhammad Nizamul Mehmood, former MP for Gilgit Baltistan Advocate Amjad Hussain, former MNA for KP, Noor Alam Khan, former MNA from FATA, Akhunzada Chattan, former MNA from Punjab, Ghulam Murtaza Satti, former MNA Nadeem Afzal Chan and former MPA Natasha Daultana.
